Trouble dines.

The dark spots are water spots dripping off the little mouse. The little mouse is all wet because before I feed it to Trouble, I have to take it out of its Chinese to-go box (really) in the freezer, pour boiling water over it, and let it soak for about fifteen minutes in an old yogurt container on the counter in the kitchen. I like not telling my roommates when I am about to do this.

If I tried to defrost it in the microwave, it would explode.

Once I decided Trouble deserved a live meal, and dropped a squirming defenseless pinky mouse into the box. If I were a braver writer, I would tell you how that went. Maybe I will attempt that in a couple days. In any case, I stick with frozen mice now.
